PUR

The most effective thermal insulation material is hard polyurethane foam (PUR).

Hard polyurethane insulation is produced by mixing and chemically reacting polyalcohols (polyol) and isocyanates (MDI) in a special high-pressure machine. CO2 is used as a foam blowing agent - it is therefore a CFC-free technology.

Mature PUR achieves the following parameters:

Specific gravity of the core min 65 kg/m³
Compressive strength min 0,3 Mpa
Thermal conductivity (50 °C) max.0,033W/mK
Heat resistance fron 50 to 140 °C
Water absorption max 10%
Cell closure min 90%
Foam blowing agent CO2 (CFC-free system)
