Seamless or spiral welded pipes with dimensions DN 25 - DN 1000 of material 11353.1 or 11373.1 are used. At the customer’s request, the pipe can be of a different quality, e.g., steel class 12.
The pipes used are spiral shaped or longitudinally welded pipes made of 11373.1 The surface of the pipes is coated against corrosion, namely with: bituminous sheathing with a glass fabric liner with 20 kV electric current puncture resistance 5 mm thick PE-coating in "n" or "v" version with 20 kV electric current puncture resistance
The service pipes are insulated with pipe sleeves made of mineral wool or water-repellent mineral wool. The strength of the sleeves is determined by calculation and depends on the diameter of the pipe and the design temperature of the medium to be transported.
Seamless pipe bends with R in the range of 3DN - 5DN are installed.
They are made of segments with the same radius as the bend of the inner service pipe.
The anchor is made of thick sheets of sheet metal and attached to the casing pipe. Its design prevents increased heat loss that could occur in this location.
In closed vacuum-insulated piping, a cap is fitted at the end point of the piping in the structure or shaft. It captures the dilatation between the inner media and the casing pipe. If necessary, a simple axial compensator with a dilatation capacity of up to + 30 mm is used. On the outside, the space between the compensator and the service pipe is closed with a welded flange, on the inside, the space between the compensator and the casing pipe is closed with a welded flange. Dilatation in the end cap is solved by a lens compensator with a dilatation capacity of + 6mm.
Manufactured in a “T” or “P” version in accordance with the project data.
